Welcome to my home page!  I am a free-lance translator and interpreter, a native Russian born in Moscow, but I have received my college education in the U.S.  I am a graduate of The Monterey Institute of International Studies and have a Master's degree in translation and interpretation.  I have worked for various government organizations, such as the U.S. State Department, the U.S. Customs, various courts, the Department of Agriculture, the Air Force Office of Scientific Research, NASA, and many private companies, such as the Monterey Bay Aquarium, WellStart International, the American Health Alliance, C-Span and many others.  I provide very high quality, reliable, confidential, professional and friendly service, putting client satisfaction among my top priorities.

The Monterey Institute is the only institution of its kind in the U.S., and probably the world, that trains professional translators and interpreters.  Not everyone knows that you can actually get a degree in interpretation.  Many think that simply knowing two languages is enough to be an interpreter, but when consistent quality, professionalism, presentation, and dependability are required -- a professionally trained interpreter is what you need.   If you want your conference, seminar, meeting, or TV interview to be a success -- you should turn to a professional to have the job done right, and rest assured that no matter how technically difficult, no matter how physically or psychologically demanding the job is, the interpreter you hired is not going to let you down.  Two years of training taught me how to make the impossible look easy and elegant.  We have done everything, even Zen meditation, to achieve a standard of excellence that you would expect from a government- or UN- level interpreter.
